Our Story
Tommy is a Rowan University alumnus, having earned his degree in Radio, Television & Film in 1984 from what was then Glassboro State College. With a strong foundation in production, storytelling, and broadcast media, he began building a career that blends technical skill with creative vision.
In 1985, he founded Rosa Productions, later evolving into Tommy Productions Media Services, a South Jersey–based media company that has grown into a trusted name in professional production and memory preservation. During the first 20 years, Tommy recorded more than 500 social events, including weddings, recitals, and live celebrations, before expanding into broader commercial and documentary work.
Over the past four decades, he has produced content for a wide range of clients, including corporate and entertainment companies such as Sony Music, as well as media transfer and archival projects connected to NFL Films, alongside numerous independent productions.
His experience spans documentary filmmaking, live and recorded television production, large-scale live event digital projection screens, and audio playback systems. He is also the creator of an original sitcom, Jersey DMV, and has produced many short- and long-form documentaries focused on real people, real stories, and local history.
Known for his hands-on approach, Tommy remains directly involved in every project—from concept through final delivery. As a speaker, he enjoys sharing behind-the-scenes insights into documentary filmmaking, the evolution of media technology, and the importance of preserving stories with authenticity, integrity, and care.

Hi, I’m Tommy—owner and founder of Tommy Productions.
I started this business in 1985 because families needed someone they could trust to preserve their memories. Over 40 years later, I’m still doing the same thing—but with better experience and equipment. I personally handle every tape, photo, and project that comes through our studio. When you call, you talk to me. When you drop off your memories, you hand them to me.
That’s the personal service that sets us apart. I’ve lived in South Jersey my entire life and raised my family here.
