Your Tapes Were Rejected. We Can Help.
Mail-in services return damaged tapes untouched. They charge handling fees but offer
no solutions. Moldy tapes, broken shells, and twisted reels get sent back with a note:
“cannot transfer.”
Those wedding videos, baby’s first words, family reunions, and irreplaceable moments—
the tapes holding your most precious memories—don’t deserve to be abandoned.
We Repair What Others Won't Touch
For over 40 years, Tommy Productions has specialized in saving damaged tapes that
other companies reject. Unlike warehouse services that follow scripts, Tommy personally
examines every damaged tape with expert care, specialized tools, and genuine determination
to recover your irreplaceable memories.
Specialized Equipment
Tommy uses professional repair tools—not available to warehouse workers. Shell
replacement kits, precision cleaning machines, and expert techniques developed
over four decades of hands-on experience.
Damage Expertise
We handle severe problems: mold remediation, sticky shed treatment, water damage
recovery, and physical repairs. Professional assessment, honest expectations,
and maximum effort to salvage every recoverable moment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does tape repair and recovery take?
Most repairs are completed within 8–10 business days. Severely damaged collections
requiring extensive work may need 2–3 weeks. Rush service is available for urgent
situations—just ask when you bring your tapes in!
Do I get my original damaged tapes back?
Absolutely! You always receive your original tapes back along with the recovered
digital files. Your memories belong to you, and we return everything safely—
whether repair was successful or not.
What happens if my tapes can't be repaired?
We provide honest assessments before starting work. If recovery seems unlikely,
we’ll tell you upfront. Our evaluation is always free, and you only pay for
successful repairs and transfers we complete.
Can you fix tapes rejected by mail-in services?
Yes—this is our specialty! About 75% of tapes rejected by Legacybox or iMemories
can be repaired and recovered here. We have professional equipment and expertise
they don’t offer to customers.
Is pickup or mail-in service available for damaged tapes?
We accept both! Local drop-off is preferred so we can examine damage together and
discuss options. For distant customers, we offer mail-in service with special
protective packaging and detailed instructions included.
